In exchange for the release of 123 political prisoners by Belarus, US OFAC authorised any transactions with Belaruskali, Agrorozkvit, and Belarusian Potash Company. All three companies remain designated SDNs in the US (which means that any of their blocked property will remain blocked), but they can now re-start export of the fertilisers prohibited by the US sanctions. This is the main export commodity of Belarus.
This license represents one of the most significant mitigation of the US sanctions against Belarus.
