In this video we look into the sanctions’ aspects of a so-called, US – Russia diesel fuel deal. Pursuant to the deal the US granted temporary relief from their Russian sanctions’ programmes with respect to the exports of Russian diesel fuel.
In the video we set out the background of the US sanctions against Russian crude and petroleum products to put the deal into the context. We further discuss the economic, political, and legal implications of the deal focusing on the sanctions’ aspect.
