Many events have occurred recently which were quite unthinkable a few years ago. The world of international economic sanctions can gives us also a few of such examples.
One of them is the phasing out by the EU of all purchases of Russian pipeline and liquified natural gas. The relationship which has been built over many decades with billions of investments by both parties and survived the Cold War is now set to come to an end.
In this video of our series, Sanctions 360, we make a short expose to the EU-Russian trade in natural gas and then set out the EU sanctions’ time-line which will bring an end to this trade.
