Attached is the judgement. It is authority as to: (i) criterion of association with a family member subject to sanctions; (ii) the level of engagement with evidence on behalf of the Court; (iii) actions which are not sufficient to break association with sanctioned person and/or regime.
Interestingly, the Court specifically noted that the fall of Assad regime in 2024 may be a new ground to challenge earlier designations on the basis of association with such regime. The argument was not extensively pleaded in the case and, in any case, was not the only basis for designation.
