2001.12.27 – EU Council Regulation (EC) No 2580/2001 on specific restrictive measures directed against certain persons and entities with a view to combating terrorism

Attached is the consolidated text of the regulation as of 2025.02.01. The regulation sets out the definitions of: (i) “owning a legal person, group or entity” and (ii) “controlling a legal person, group or entity.” It is further one of five EU regulations against terrorism. The other four are regulations 2016/1686; 2024/386; 881/2002; and 753/2011.
