Attached is the text of the judgement. The judgement is issued in the context of the EU sanctions with respect to the Democratic Republic of Congo. It sets out a successful de-listing challenge to the on-going maintenance of the applicant on the EU assets-freeze list. The legal basis: an error in assessment of the factual circumstances. Factual basis: (a) the retirement of the applicant from active politics; and (b) his change in attitude to the current president.
